Dear Single Parents

Dear Single Parents,

You are doing just fine. You are working just as hard if not more, than a two parent family. Be the best parent you can be. Don’t worry or even care about others and how they’re raising their kids. You are a great mom/dad just the way you are. Don’t ever feel that you need somebody else in your life to help be a parent. You are no different than anyone else. You can do it. I believe in you. You are appreciated as well. You may not realize it, but you are. So thank you to all the parents out there, we wouldn’t be the same without you. We wouldn’t be here without you. Yes, you work so hard all day long, but don’t forget to take time for yourself and for your kids here and there. For example, when you arrive at home from work, take a break and play outside with your children. Relax, you will and are okay because you are strong. You are not alone, I am here for you. I know you will succeed if you put your mind to it. You are a survivor who never gives up. I am not just a human typing this for people to read, I am someone who will encourage you to chase your dreams. To embrace who you are. I am your friend who’s always here for support. So come back to post whenever you need a friendly reminder that you are not alone.
