What’s on your mind? What’s causing you distress, or unhappiness? Today, I am going to provide some helpful tips when dealing with negativity
1. Forgive, but never forget
When starting to accept a situation and its circumstances, you will start to feel better rather quickly. Whether you realize it or not. Learn to forgive, but never forget what happened. Just move on and take it as a learning experience. Keep your head high.
2. Let it out
Do not put a cork on on your feelings and stuff it in a bottle. Rant, vent, let it out. (One of the best remedies out there.) It doesn’t have to be to another human, you can confide into a pet, Partner wall, etc. I would also recommend writing. Whenever I feel stressed/upset about something/one, I write about it in third person or letter format. When doing this don’t worry about grammer, as long your thoughts exit your head somehow, that’s all that matters.
3. Think positive
Ah, one of my favorite philosophies in life. Always try to look at the bright sides of things. Be an optimist in a world of pessimism. But also be real, don’t tell yourself happy things just to make it better. It will only help you temporarily. Take every negative experience as learning or a way that made you stronger. After all, you are a survivor. Tell yourself words of encouragement daily if you need too. (That’s what I do and it helps!) Speaking of which, I believe in you.
